Pet Stop Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to placing homeless and displaced pets. Based in Ventura County, California, PSR focuses on improving and protecting the lives of animals. We rescue animals from kill shelters, dangerous home situations as well remote locations where people have abandoned them. We also help responsible families who find themselves in the difficult situation of needing to re-home their pets. Most of our animals are in foster homes until ‘lifelong’ homes can be found for them. Our volunteer fosters help us to socialize, train and rehabilitate these wonderful animals so that they can be better members of your family once placed.
